April 2006 News Letter
Bret Belknap is the shoot chairperson for the May shoot, which will be held May 6th
and 7th. Help is needed loading the trap houses on Friday May 5th at 5:00 p.m. Lunch
will served Saturday and Sunday as well as a dinner Saturday night, and help is always needed
in the kitchen, at the grill, and at the counter. Help is also needed on Sunday, May 7th at
4:00 p.m. to clean up after the shoot. Please call Bret at 897-2163 to volunteer for one of
these jobs.
Dodie and crew are serving dinner again this year during the league on Tuesday nights.
Help is desperately needed! Come help out. We need you, and it is a lot of fun! Don't
wait for Dodie to call you. Call Dodie if you have any questions or be at the kitchen
at 5:00 p.m.to help.
Do to the extremely high water levels the river is closed to boating until further notice.
Please be careful if take any children to the beach. The water is running very fast and the
beach drops off suddenly in unexpected areas.
The State Shoot is right around the corner. Please mark your calendar for the following
dates:
May 21 - Membership meeting RE: State Shoot, 2:00 p.m.
May 27 - Work day for Stat Shoot
June 3 - Work day for State Shoot
June 8 - Board Meeting, 7:00 p.m.
June 17 - Work day for State Shoot
June 18-19 - Pre-State Shoot
June 20-25 - 2006 State Shoot
