AUGUST NEWSLETTER
Hope everyone is enjoying their summer. If you were wondering why you didn’t get your July newsletter it is because there wasn’t one. June wore me out and besides, there really wasn’t any news. The State Shoot is in the can and now it is time to move on with our regularly scheduled business.
Our next registered trap shoot and the last one of the year will be held September 2nd and 3rd. Gill Martinusen (434-6293) is the chairperson and could use your help Friday evening loading targets and Sunday afternoon cleaning up. Dodie (897-7496) will be running the grill Saturday and Sunday and would love to have some help.
Robert Terry (638-9360) and crew will run a Fall Tuesday night league starting October 24th and run for 6 weeks. The signup nights will be October 3rd and 10th.
This year’s appreciation dinner will be Sunday October 22nd. Hors devours will start around 3:30 pm and dinner will be served at 5:30. Please put this date on your calendar and if you can RSVP it would be great. On Thursday, October 26 our grounds will be used for a high school cross country meet. Our insurance requires a member be on the grounds when we allow these types of events. If you will be on the grounds because your kids are participating or if you would just like to spend an afternoon watching a bunch of kids run around please contact Bret Belknap (897-2163). You wouldn’t have any responsibilities or be required to do anything other than just be there.
