May 2006 News Letter
This warm weather is keeping the river running extremely high and fast. The sheriff has closed the river for boating, floating and swimming until further notice. Please be careful if you take kids to the beach.
The high water has made for some good fishing in the pond. Please remember that bass fishing in the pond is “Catch and Release” only. Feel free to take some pan fish, but please leave the bass.
The league dinner is June 10th. We could really use some help in the kitchen preparing and serving the meal. If you would like to help contact Robert Terry at 638-9360 or robertwayneterry@yahoo.com.
Kids wanting to work at the state shoot can pick up an application on Tuesday nights at the club. For more information contact Robert Terry.
The membership meeting scheduled for this Sunday, May 21 has been changed to Saturday, May 20 at 2:00pm. The purpose of the meeting is to discuss the State Shoot. There will not be a pot luck.
There has been some interest in having an instructor come to the club and do a hunter safety course. If you have any kids or know of any kids that would be interested in taking a course contact Bret Belknap at 897-2163 or b.belknap@sbcglobal.net.
