Happy New Year! I hope that 2008 has been treating you all well so far! Just so you all know I didn’t submit a December newsletter because there really wasn’t anything much to submit. I hope that everyone’s holidays were wonderful.
To start off the New Year we would like to welcome our most recent members Alex & Stephanie Marriott to the club. Also, we would like to welcome our honorary members of 2008 into the club. They are Mark and Jana Bray, Gordon Beer, and Keith O’Kray.
It’s that time of year again and elections are just around the corner. They will be held February 3rd at 9:00 A.M. Please be there to sign in at 8:45. This is very important. The calendar of events shows that the elections will be held at 1:00 PM. That is not correct. Please pass the word around to others if you can.
Bill Olsen has done an excellent job with the Kingsburg Gun Club’s website. There is an exciting addition called message board that he wanted me to let you all know about. If you log on to the website and go to message board you can post messages and view a calendar of club events.
The Kingsburg Lions Club and their President, Stan Ruiz, are hosting a Texas Hold’em tournament on the 2nd of February @ 12:00 noon. Anyone is invited to participate but you must be 21 years of age. The initial buy in is $100.00. For ticket information please contact Stan Ruiz @ 897-2378, Steve Safarjian @ 897-1777, or Mike Smith @ 287-3811.
There is a workday on February 9th. Please come out and lend a hand. If you are interested please contact Brad Jones.
