OCTOBER NEWSLETTER
The much anticipated Appreciation Dinner is this Sunday, October 22. Most of you have been contacted to see if you are coming, but if you haven’t please call me (897-2163) soon so we can count you in. It should be a great afternoon featuring a dinner of turkey, ham, and all the fixings. Appetizers will start at 3:30 and dinner at 5:00.
The fall league starts next week. There is still room if you want to shoot.
At the October board meeting the board of directors approved the purchase of a new metal building to be built on the grounds for storage of targets and equipment. This building is being purchased with club money and built with club labor. Construction is set to begin the second week in December with the forming and pouring of the concrete slab. Terry Horstman is heading up this project and he needs plenty of hand labor for digging footings and moving dirt in preparation for the concrete. This is a big job and we need the membership to really pitch in for it to be a success. Sponsors, if you have someone on the waiting list, this is a great opportunity for them to log some good work days. I will get exact time and dates out to you as soon as I can.
