Frequently asked questions

Q: How do I become a member at the club?

A: The Kingsburg Gun Club has a limited membership of 150. Members are expected to work and attend meetings to maintain their membership. Perspective members are expected to work at the club until a spot becomes available. The more an applicant works the closer to the top of the waiting list they stay. Time on the list has no bearing on how quickly you become a member. It’s all about how much you work. An applicant needs a member in good standing to sponsor them and keep them informed of work days. Applications are available at the club.

Q: What privileges do members have?

A: Members have virtually unlimited access to the grounds year round except during the State Shoot. Members can rent the club house at a much reduced rate. Members can obtain keys to the traps and shoot when they want.

Q: When is the club open to the public?

A: The club is open for trap shooting Tuesday nights from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm and Sundays for 10:00 am to around 5:00 pm and during any of our scheduled ATA shoots. The rest of the club is private and for the use of members and guests.

Q: What is the cost for a round of trap?

A: $3.00 for 25 targets.

Q: Are shells for sale on the grounds?

A: There is a vendor on the grounds Tuesday nights and during our scheduled shoots. A limited selection of shells is available on Sundays.

Q: When are the grounds open for camping for the State Shoot?

A; Camping is available starting at 7:00 am on the Wednesday prior to the start of the state shoot. Campers arriving earlier than that must stay at the far eastern end of the grounds so preparations on the grounds are not encumbered.

Q: Who do I talk to about vendor space at the State Shoot?

A: Rumie Vasquez  - liznrumie@sbcglobal.net

Q: Can I rent the club?

A: The club house is available to rent. The traps are available for special occasions. The beach area is for members only.

Q: Do you have any skeet fields or sporting clays?

A: No, just trap.
